Technical Implementation Specialist I

Job Summary:

Your employment duties will consist of those of a Technical Specialist I as required by the Company and listed below. This list is not to be taken as fixed or exhaustive, however, and you will be expected to perform any reasonable employment task given by a superior.

The Technical Specialist I primary responsibilities will revolve around the installation of software onto client servers, as well as modifying existing software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware requirements, improve performance, or upgrade core application frameworks or infrastructure. The Implementation Engineer should possess a degree or diploma in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering or any other related field of study. Experience working with; PHP (Laravel), SQL (MySQL, MariaDB, HeidiSQL), Mirth, Apache, CDYNE and Cloud/Server tools (Docker, AWS, Google Cloud) is preferred.

Job Duties:

• Installation and configuration of customer on-premises servers, including compliance with customer access requirements, LDAP setup and troubleshooting, hardware mapping, network resolution when needed, etc.
• Implement software according to internal and industry best practices.
• Conduct Interface Builds with mentorship 
• Execution of customer overrides and data migration requirements  
• Ability to troubleshooting and detailed investigation/documentation of product defects or gaps
• Documentation of customer environments on Customer Deployment Records and other systems identified such as JIRA tickets
• Junior skill level of technical intervention and resolution during UAT session with customers
• Ability to understand and investigate application performance issues by analyzing CPU utilization, database sizing, and other server resource components to prevent system failures
• Analyzing information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system.
• Collaboration with departments or customers on project status and proposals
• Work with Quality Assurance, Project Managers, Clinical Specialists, Product Specialists, etc. to ensure that company products are meeting client standards

Job Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering, web design, or a field related to the industry
• One to two years of related experience
• Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies
• Familiarity with various programming languages and development platforms
• Strong knowledge of browser compatibility problems for all platforms and major browser types
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• High level of integrity and work ethic
• Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
• Demonstrated time management skills
• Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
• High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment
