SCOPE:
The Technical Implementation Integration Lead is responsible for overseeing all technical integration activities related to the implementation of Lab Benefit Management (LBM) programs. This client-facing role manages data exchange, system connectivity, and configuration across both internal teams and external client platforms. The position bridges IT, development, configuration, and project teams to ensure successful, efficient delivery of integration projects.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in IT or electronic data exchange (EDI) within managed care operations
  • 2+ years in healthcare, health plan, managed care, or benefits management
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and technical implementation best practices
  • Experience with SQL (various dialects), HIPAA compliance, and data exchange protocols
  • Proficiency in XML/JSON, APIs (RESTful & SOAP), and Integration-as-a-Service (IaaS)
  • Familiarity with cloud environments and healthcare claims platforms
  • Strong communication and soft skills to interface with external clients
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and solutions
  • Experience working with tools such as JIRA
  • Ability to coordinate technical tasks and manage multiple complex projects
  • Preferred: Experience in a small, high-growth company; knowledge of Java is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Act as the client-facing SME for all technical integration efforts
  • Lead technical onboarding and manage parallel integration projects
  • Define and explain software architecture to clients and partners
  • Gather and document requirements for development, configuration, and deployment
  • Lead data mapping sessions and coordinate secure file transfers
  • Work with internal teams (DBAs, Developers, Testers, MFT, SSO, etc.) to ensure timely execution
  • Set up and manage secure system access, including SSO
  • Create and manage technical work items (e.g., JIRA tickets)
  • Support planning and execution of user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Troubleshoot data/system issues and ensure seamless implementation
  • Own and maintain all technical integration-related documentation
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficiency enhancements
  • Serve as the business owner for the technical sections of the Implementation Toolkit
