Alpen Labs is a New York-based startup founded in 2022 by four MIT alumni. Our mission is to build universal rails for money by creating a scalable, private and programmable Bitcoin ecosystem. We're achieving this through cutting-edge innovations in zero-knowledge cryptography and offchain solutions, without compromising Bitcoin's fundamental principles.

As a Technical Project Manager within our core engineering team, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing the development of our blockchain systems and protocols. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that the project is delivered on time with high quality. We are in search of an individual who champions excellence in execution, underscored by a well thought out strategy.

• Possess a proven track record of managing projects in the technology sector, with a strong preference for experience in blockchain or related fields.

• Showcase effective communication skills and a strong collaborative spirit.

What you will be doing:

• Manage all projects related to our core product, collaborating with teams to create comprehensive project plans, detailed timelines, and key milestones while ensuring timely completion and high-quality deliverables.
• Act as a liaison between the engineering team and other teams (Product, BD/Marketing/Branding, HR, and Founding teams) to ensure seamless communication and integration.
• Drive Agile development processes, including sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives, to enhance team efficiency and alignment with business objectives.
• Proactively identify and address project risks, such as resource constraints, bottlenecks, and dependencies, while also supporting HR and management in recruiting and onboarding top talent to meet project demands.
