Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and Event Management of IT&T Services and Datacenters
  • Incident, Problem and Request management according to ISO 20000/ITIL standards
  • 2nd Level Support of Corporate applications and infrastructure
  • Escalate and communicate customer issues and network/system related alerts to Tier 3 staff or vendors, Management and Administration as defined by policies and escalation procedures
  • Escalate incidents that could lead to electromechanical systems unavailability
  • Support change management and configuration management procedures
  • Create and analyze reports regarding system/service availability and registered incidents
  • Responsively interact with customers and internal stakeholders, both local and remote
  • Being escalation point of Level 1 engineers and Service Desk
  • Participate in special IT&T projects and perform other duties as required
  • Coordinate & follow up on critical issues resolution

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Professional experience on Microsoft Windows servers (relative certification will be considered plus)
  • Solid experience in a helpdesk or technical support environment will be considered as a plus
  • Basic knowledge on Microsoft SQL server or Oracle DBMS
  • Strong configuration/administration skills on Cisco routers/Switches/Wireless
  • Basic knowledge/experience on Linux/Solaris
  • Basic knowledge/experience on server backup methodologies/tools
  • Basic knowledge on SDH, HDSL, Fiber optics, VOIP, AV transmission and Cable TV/IPTV/Digital Signage systems
  • Ability to work on shifts
  • Fluency in verbal and written English
