Job Summary

Bugcrowd is seeking a self-driven, detail-oriented Technical Engagement Specialist (“TES”) to assist with administrative and operational functions supporting the Technical Engagement Team.  This role will partner closely with the Technical Engagement Managers (“TEM”) team and Customer Experience Management Team (“CEM”) to aid with administrative and operational tasks that support the full lifecycle of all post sales solutions and processes.

The Technical Engagement Specialist will report to the Customer Experience Operations Manager, and support the TEM team’s ongoing program management. This role is vital to ensuring timely launch delivery and program lifecycle management for the TEM Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Team Administration Support

  • Monitor channels for newly won business deals to assign to the TEM
  • Create and prepare the engagements for TEM’s to launch
  • Update Salesforce and Gainsight for customer engagement launch readiness
  • Work behind the scenes to complete manual, repetitive, and/or administrative tasks

Operational Tasks

  • Connective tissue between the transitions to the Customer Experience Team and the Technical Engagement Managers to ensure alignment on processes
  • Monitor workload, assign engagements based on capacity data, and recommend adjustments to optimize resource utilization and delivery timelines.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations, TEM/CEM leaders, scrubbing, updating and maintaining data and reporting

Administrative Duties

  • Work closely with the Customer Experience Operations Manager and TEM leadership team to analyze and optimize delivery workflows to improve efficiency, and reduce friction in onboarding and launch processes.
  • Lead initiatives to document and refine operational procedures

Cross-Functional Coordination & Communication

  • Serve as a liaison between TEM, CEM, and Sales to ensure alignment on delivery schedules, program updates, and customer escalations
  • Track and report any data discrepancies between teams’ systems
  • Works with sales team members to communicate engagement assignments

Data Integrity & Reporting

  • Complete manual reporting cleanup and hygiene tasks
  • Validate data entered from contracts is accurate across multiple systems
  • Support audit readiness by maintaining and updating data from reports or dashboards

Customer Engagement and Support

  • Act as a point of contact during program launches, ensuring smooth transitions and early success

Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • 3+ years experience in operations, program management, or administrative roles within technology, cybersecurity, or SaaS organizations.
  • Strong project management and time management skills
  • Strong proactive and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working closely with technical teams and understanding the nuances of technical program delivery.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Be comfortable asking questions!
  • Basic proficiency with operational tools such as Slack, Jira, Gainsight, Freshdesk, Salesforce, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced reporting skills desired (Google Sheets, Excel etc.) Comfortable with V,X-lookups, manipulating pivot tables.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity and ethical hacking; ie. “What is the difference between a pentest and a bug bounty?”

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Carrying and / or lifting - Must be able to carry / move laptop as needed throughout the work day.
  • Environment - remote, work-from-home 100% of the time.
