What You’ll Do as an Technical Documentation Migration Intern at Arteris
Arteris is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Technical Documentation Migration Intern to support our documentation modernization initiative. This role focuses on migrating existing technical documents from PDF format into Confluence, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and improved usability across our internal knowledge base.
Key Responsibilities
  • Migrate and reformat documents: Transfer existing technical documentation from PDFs into structured Confluence pages, maintaining formatting, diagrams, and technical accuracy.
  • Standardize content: Apply existing documentation templates and style guides to ensure a consistent look and feel across all migrated materials.
  • Quality assurance: Review migrated content for completeness, readability, and accuracy against source PDFs.
  • Collaborate with technical teams: Work with engineers, technical writers, and knowledge managers to clarify unclear content or formatting issues.
  • Optimize for searchability: Add metadata, page labels, and hyperlinks to improve discoverability within Confluence.
  • Document the process: Track migration progress, note common issues, and suggest improvements to the workflow.
What You Bring
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow formatting and content standards.
  • Familiarity with Confluence and basic content management systems (CMS) preferred.
  • Basic understanding of technical documentation and version control concepts is a plus.
  • Excellent written communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Fluent English both spoken and in writing.
