Technical Delivery Lead (AWS/Azure)- Contract

We are seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Lead with experience working with AWS & Azure infrastructure to support a team of Solution Architects to define technical approaches, shape delivery plans, and guide implementation activity across cloud based projects. This role combines solution design input, delivery planning, and hands-on technical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with a team of solution architects to define solution definition and ensuring alignment with appropriate infrastructure standards
• Translate solution designs into deliverables, estimating effort and duration of each stage
• Define and highlight dependencies, risks and constraints to inform project management plans
• As required, support junior members of the team with deployments
• Contribute to cloud infrastructure deployment using established CI/CD tools and automation frameworks.

Requirements

Cloud Expertise:

• Strong practical experience with AWS and Azure infrastructure and services.
• DevOps & Automation:
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps Pipelines
• Experience with GitHub Actions
• Hands-on experience using Terraform (TF) for infrastructure deployment

General Delivery Skills:

• Ability to decompose architecture into deliverable technical tasks.
• Strong understanding of cloud engineering best practices.
• Previous Technical Delivery Lead experience - strong communicator with the ability to bridge solution architecture and delivery execution.
