Technical Data Analyst

Mindera’s organizational design includes ‘verticals’ which are Gaming, Fintech, FashionTech and Retail. 

Mindera is looking to recruit a Technical Data Analyst with experience in tech, gaming or entertainment industries to work closely with a new client. In this role you will work with the business & tech teams to break down complex technical processes into business-readable information.  

The role will be hybrid and require 2-3 days (per week) in the client office in Austin, Texas. On other hand, the position will be as a contractor for a period of 6 months.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with project managers to understand and maintain focus on their analytics needs, including critical metrics and KPI, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision makers.
• Proactively analyze data to answer key questions for stakeholders or yourself, with an eye on what drives business performance, and investigate and communicate which areas need improvement in efficiency and productivity.
• Define and implement data acquisition and integration logic, selecting an appropriate combination of methods and tools within the defined technology stack to ensure optimal scalability and performance of the solution.
• Develop and maintain databases by acquiring data from primary and secondary sources, and build scripts that will make our data evaluation process more flexible or scalable across datasets.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3-5 years experience as a business systems analyst, technical data analyst, or technical process analyst.
• 3-5 years experience in tech, gaming, or entertainment industries.
• 3-5 years experience working with data and data languages like SQL, knowledge of programming languages like Python is a plus.
• Strong demonstrable knowledge of data concepts (raw streaming data, data modelling, metadata, etc.)
• Able to communicate effectively across engineering, product, and business stakeholders
• High critical thinking ability and able to break down complex technical processes into business-readable information
• Working knowledge of end-to-end data processes, from ingestion to transformation to presentation
• Able to document requirements, analyses, and learnings for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Highly detail orientated and able to clearly organize information
• Self-starter, does not need continuous direct management of tasks
• Genuinely curious and able to dive deep into topics without getting lost in the details

Daily Rate

• $440.00 per day.
