Working within the Marketing and Projects team, this role will be responsible for creating content for all internal and external facing channels. The successful candidate must be capable of understanding the essence of the narrative quickly, be clear and focused in assimilating and communicating ideas and making the complex easy to understand and read. 


This role will be responsible for writing primary and secondary content for customers and the wider team, and also provide specifications for interactive content, to be built by Wolfram Language developers. 


Responsibilities:

  • Creating primary and secondary content for a variety of different audiences, channels and formats e.g., social media and email outreach, company blogs, customer stories, pitches etc
  • Interviewing customers and stakeholders to develop content
  • Assisting Design with image mock-ups, marketing materials and suggestions to support blogs and technical content
  • Supporting the CEO with their content creation and its distribution on all channels  
  • Writing and updating webinar and physical event content, including generation of new material
  • Providing Wolfram Language code examples to demonstrate new or existing product functions
  • Delivering technical presentations and webinars to universities and stakeholders
  • Edit and maintain video content to support marketing activities
  • Working with wider teams to build materials and drive our goals for reforming education 

 

Required/ideal skills:

  • Educated to degree level in a technical subject would be an advantage, E.g. maths, physics, engineering, computer science, or related technical or quantitative field
  • Clear understanding of the process of maths
  • Experience writing technical content
  • An interest or background in mathematics
  • Highly organised and disciplined approach to prioritising workload, completing multiple tasks to tight deadlines and working under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, able to communicate up to senior level both internally and externally, in writing and by phone
  • Excellent IT skills and social media savvy
  • Energy, enthusiasm and a can-do attitude
  • Flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to support multiple projects
  • A good level of numeracy and a high degree of attention to detail will be required
  • Language skills are desirable, though not essential.

 

This is a full-time role that is hybrid remote. Office:Home / 60:40

 

Salary: £29,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
