Technical Content Writer

TLDR

This role involves creating detailed technical documentation and engaging blog posts while leveraging web technologies to present complex information effectively.

This is a challenging job that requires you to understand web technologies, write simple and concise English, structure complex information into digestible chunks, build creative & exciting demos (again using your technology skills) and present everything in a visually pleasing and use case-driven manner. You'll be required to write technical documentation, KB articles, blog posts and product data sheets that help our end users comprehend the capabilities of FusionCharts products.

Roles & responsibilities:

Build elaborate and exhaustive documentation for all our products (see examples at http://docs.fusioncharts.com)
Write technical content for our Knowledge Base (http://kb.fusioncharts.com) and Forums (http://forum.fusioncharts.com)
Write blog posts in an informal tone (http://blog.fusioncharts.com)
Prepare product data-sheets and sales/marketing collaterals involving technical aspects of our products

Skills required:

Understanding of web technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML
Understanding of server-side scripts like ASP.NET, PHP, Java
Ability to structure complex information into digestible chunks and then express it clearly
Experience in using tools like Adobe Dreamweaver
Ability to search, index and retrieve knowledge from the Web quickly
Know-how of software development life-cycle (SDLC)
