Technical Content Writer and Editor

The team:

The Bid Team plays a vital role in supporting our sales organization by responding requests for proposals (RFPs) and security assessments. We nurture collaboration among diverse contributors and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). We are committed to uphold a comprehensive repository of bid and security knowledge while fostering a culture of teamwork, innovation, and professional growth.

What your day will look like:

• Working closely with Proposal Managers (PMs), Security Specialists (SSs), and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) you will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining content related to our company, products, software and hardware functionality, and security. Your primary focus will be on ensuring clarity, precision, accuracy, and overall quality.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Curating and editing existing or new content, including articles and Q&As submitted by Security Specialists and Proposal Managers
• Generating new content to address Requests for Proposals (RFPs) or security questionnaires
• Regularly reviewing and updating RFP and security content within the database, in line with internal schedules and new product releases
• Collaborating closely with internal subject matter experts across Genetec's product portfolio and information security team
• Coordinating efforts with other internal content development teams to maintain message alignment
• Assisting the Bid Team and Sales organization in locating content
• Working with the Content Manager to ensure alignment with our internal content strategy

About you:

• You will take a proactive approach to acquire in-depth knowledge of Genetec products and information security, as well as software functionality, recognizing their critical role in your job performance
• You possess either relevant technical work experience or have completed relevant technical studies
• Your attention to detail is exemplary, and you approach tasks with diligence
• You have a high level of proficiency in written communication
• Your communication skills are excellent, enabling effective collaboration with team members and SMEs
• You demonstrate proficiency in understanding and articulating technical concepts
