Technical Business Analyst | Mandarin Speaking

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in bridging business needs and technology delivery across strategic initiatives. This role combines strong business analysis capability with solid technical understanding of systems, data, and integration design.

You will partner with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and project managers to translate business objectives into clear, actionable, and technically feasible solutions. The successful candidate will bring both business process insight and the ability to operate confidently within complex technology environments.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis:

• Engage with stakeholders to capture and analyse business needs, objectives, and pain points.
• Develop clear business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories with traceable acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and process mapping sessions to define and document current and future state processes.
• Contribute to business case development, problem statement & impact assessments
• Support change management, communication, and business readiness activities.

Technical Analysis:

• Analyse existing systems, data flows, and integration points to identify improvements or dependencies.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements, including interface design, data mapping, and system workflows.
• Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure solution designs meet business and technical standards.
• Define and review API specifications, data validation rules, and non-functional requirements.
• Support UAT and defect triage, ensuring requirements are met and traceable through delivery. 

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, with demonstrated exposure to both business process and technical projects.
• Strong knowledge of project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
• Proven ability to work with business and technology teams, translating between functional needs and technical specifications.
• Experience producing business and technical documentation such as BRDs, data mappings, and user stories.
• Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, data structures, and basic querying (SQL or equivalent).
• Proven track record in CRM, customer/marketing data, and enterprise platform projects.
• Knowledge of data governance, privacy regulations (GDPR, ASIC, APRA CPS 234), and security frameworks.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
• Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or equivalent tools.

Desirable Skills

• Understanding of cloud environments (Azure, AWS) and integration technologies.
• Knowledge of data governance, information security, or enterprise architecture principles.
• Professional certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), CCBA, PMI-PBA or similar.
• FinTech or financial services project experience (e.g., trading systems MT4/MT5).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and enterprise architecture (AWS, GCP, Azure).
