Technical Bid Content Assistant (Fixed-term Contract)

At System C, our mission is to enhance and transform social care outcomes by providing robust, high-quality social care case management software. As a Technical Bid Content Assistant, known internally as Technical Bid Content Curator, you will support this mission by selecting the most effective technical content from our previous bid submissions and importing it into our bid library tool. This process will empower our team to assemble initial tender response drafts more efficiently and with greater speed.

The role

As a key member of the Social Care & Education Division’s (SC&E) Bid Team, you will be responsible for reviewing, organising, and curating technical material from previous tender submissions. This material spans a wide range of subjects, including implementation and deployment methodologies, as well as our approaches to security, compliance, and support. In close collaboration with your colleagues in the Bid Team, you will carefully prepare this content within a staging area in SharePoint, ensuring it is correctly styled and formatted, before importing it into our bid library tool.

What you’ll do

• Curate technical responses from previous tender submissions within a designated staging area on SharePoint, adhering to the process established by the Bid Manager.
• Organise and align the curated content according to the agreed structure of the bid library.
• Ensure all material is styled and formatted precisely.
• Import the refined content into the business's bid library tool.
• In months two and three, assist the team with both enhancing the bid library tool and developing initial draft responses for tender submissions.

About you

• Expert user of Microsoft Word, with advanced proficiency in applying and managing styles, converting tables to text, and anchoring images. Strong command of Microsoft Excel also required.
• Confident in engaging with technical subject matters, including Prince2 and Agile project delivery approaches, as well as software architecture and deployment processes.
• Highly organised and proactive, able to work independently and deliver results to tight deadlines.
• Skilled in producing clear, compelling written content, with a keen focus on structure and maximising content reusability.
