  • Map end-to-end payment flows, align on API contracts, data models, event flows, edge cases and other parts of payment flow logic to identify dependencies, risks and constraints early.
  • Analyse new features for customer-facing parts of payment flow and back office improvements for payments management.
  • Collaborate with Product Owner to clarify scope and analyse impact of changes.
  • Ensure stories and development tickets are technically feasible, clearly scoped and ready for refinement and development.
  • Collaborate with the development teams and architects to deeply refine epics and stories before sprint planning.
  • Communicate with PSPs before and during implementation regarding technical, testing, authorization and troubleshooting questions.
  • Oversee that technical documentation for payment integrations and features is kept up to date.
  • Be the first point of contact regarding technical clarifications during implementation.
  • You will be successful in this role when you have:
  • 3+ years of experience as Technical Analyst, Systems Analyst or other technical engineering role preferably in Payments, FinTech, or iGaming.
  • Experience working with high-load or high-risk transaction environments.
  • Strong understanding of PSP APIs, payment processing and gateway logic.
  • Familiarity with microservice architecture, event-driven systems, and communication between services via brokers (e.g. Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Ability to interpret API specs (REST, JSON, webhooks) and translate them into development tasks.
  • Ability to use API testing tools (e.g. Postman) to manually test external APIs before development.
  • Solid understanding of payment lifecycle — auth, capture, refund, chargeback, settlement.
  • Hands-on experience working with agile development teams (Scrum or Kanban).
  • Strong communication and documentation skills in English.
  • Familiarity with observability tools (e.g. Grafana, Kibana) and SQL for quick data checks.
