What you need
Strong hands-on experience in LTE Layer 2 – MAC, RLC, PDCP
In-depth knowledge of 3GPP LTE standards (36.321, 36.322, 36.323)
Excellent programming skills in C/C++ (embedded, real-time systems)
Experience with multi-threaded systems, IPC, and high-performance software
Debugging experience using tools like GDB, Wireshark, protocol analyzers
Strong understanding of LTE call flows and KPIs (throughput, latency, BLER)
Strong technical leadership and ownership
Ability to explain complex protocol behavior clearly
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Effective communication with cross-functional and global teams
Ability to work in a fast-paced R&D environment
Mentor and guide a team of junior engineers
Break down requirements into technical tasks and ensure timely deliver
What you will do :
Lead development/support/maintenance of features such as:
Scheduling and HARQ (MAC)
RLC AM/UM/TM procedures
PDCP ciphering, integrity protection, ROHC
QoS, DRX, SR/BSR, Timing Advance handling
Carrier Aggregation, MIMO, and 256-QAM support
Optimize throughput, latency, CPU usage, and memory footprint
Analyze and resolve complex protocol and performance issues in lab and field environments
