Tech Lead Manager, Developer Infrastructure

About the team

We are the developer infra engineering team behind all applications in our. The client include mobile frontend and some desktop. We proudly serve billions of users across the world and thousands of engineers by building and supporting large-scale services, frameworks, tools and systems. We're looking for a Tech Lead Manager who will lead a team of software engineers to work on developer infrastructure/tools and help us improve the performance, stability, and R&D efficiency of mobile applications owned by us. You will have the opportunity to change the experience of billions of users worldwide and improve the R&D efficiency of thousands. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to join the in-depth technical explorations of Perf&Crash, Build Tools, Developer Experience, and cross-platform technology, and even propose new directions and projects that continually improve our Mobile system architecture.

As a Tech Lead Manager, you will

- Work as a highly technical and hands-on coder and effective people manager;

- Build client-side mobile infrastructure in C++/OC/Java/Kotlin/Dart;

- Improve app-wide performance and efficiency;

- Build various systems/tools to improve R&D efficiency;

- Collaborate with different business teams and product teams.

Requirements

- Bachelor or above degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, with 5+ years’ experience as a software engineer and 3+ years leading a software engineering team;

- Experience in mobile infrastructure, particularly in the compiler, performance optimization, quality, and development efficiency;

- Proficient in (at least one): Java, Objective-C, C/C++, JavaScript, Kotlin, Dart, PHP, Go, Python;

- Skilled in building trust-based relationships with the team and fellow leaders;

- Experience in managing a cross-regional team is a plus.
