Team Leader (Performance)

We are looking for a Team Leader to lead, structure, and elevate our operational teams while ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory standards.

If you combine people leadership with operational discipline and a strong sense of accountability, this role is for you.

Requirements

• Manage, monitor, and supervise the employees under your responsibility, ensuring alignment with defined objectives, internal procedures, policies, and applicable standards
• Identify training and upskilling needs, proposing and overseeing development initiatives to support both performance and professional growth
• Detect performance deviations, inappropriate conduct, or operational risks, acting within your scope and escalating when required
• Fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
• Prepare, manage, and monitor work schedules, including shifts, working hours, holidays, and absences, ensuring operational continuity and legal compliance
• Conduct regular performance reviews, feedback sessions, and follow-up meetings with team members
• Report regularly on team performance, operational risks, and resource needs to senior management
  

👤 Profile We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in operational team leadership or people management
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage complexity in a regulated environment
• Clear communicator with the ability to provide structured feedback and drive performance
• High level of integrity, diligence, and impartiality
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
• Experience in fintech, financial services, compliance, or regulated operations is a strong plus
• Available and excited to work on-site from our office in central Porto
