Team Lead, Solutions Engineering (EMEA & APAC) — Identity Verification

The Mission:

As a Player-Coach, you will lead a distributed team of Solutions Engineers across EMEA and APAC to drive technical strategy for customer acquisition and expansion. You’ll sit at the intersection of Sales, Product, and Success, ensuring our Identity Verification (IDV) platform is seamlessly integrated across diverse regulatory environments and complex enterprise tech stacks.

You’ll help us protect honest people online by:

Team Leadership: Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing regional SE team. Establish standard methodologies for discovery, demos, and POCs.
Strategic Deal Support: Act as the technical executive sponsor for high-stakes enterprise deals. Partner with Sales to navigate complex KYC, KYB, and AML use cases.
Solution Architecture: Guide customers through API/SDK integrations, advising on onboarding UX, fraud orchestration, and risk thresholds.
Regional Advocacy: Be the "voice of the region" for Product and Engineering, translating local regulatory requirements (GDPR, data residency, etc.) into product feedback.
Operational Excellence: Track and improve team KPIs, including win rates, POC conversion, and time-to-go-live.

You are the right future Veriffian for the job if you have:

Experience: 6–10+ years in Solutions Engineering with 2+ years in a leadership or mentorship capacity.
Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of Identity Verification (IDV), Fraud, Fintech, or RegTech.
Technical Chops: Proficiency in REST APIs, JSON, Webhooks, and SDK integrations (Mobile/Web). Familiarity with OAuth, SSO, and cloud architecture.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with compliance landscapes across EMEA and APAC (KYC/AML/Data Privacy).
Communication: Ability to translate complex technical/regulatory concepts for C-suite stakeholders while staying "in the weeds" with developers.

You are an exceptionally great fit if you have:

Postman, SQL, or scripting (Python/JS).
Experience with orchestration platforms or biometric/liveness detection.
