Team Lead People Operations (m/f/d)

Lead and optimize key HR processes for a dynamic and international team while collaborating closely with various stakeholders to drive improvements and compliance.

JOIN OUR TEAM

As Team Lead People Operations you are responsible for leading our Polish People Operations team. We are looking for an adaptable and structured professional overseeing key HR processes, payroll, and compliance, while driving process improvements and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced, international setting. This position is permanent, reporting to our Headquarters in Munich and based in Warsaw.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • manage a team of 3 People Operations and Payroll Managers working on both core people lifecycle processes and payroll in a dynamic, English-speaking and international environment
  • oversee team tasks including on & offboarding, absence management and general ticket enquiries, as well as monthly payroll input, processing and compliance checks for Poland
  • monitor and report upon key SLAs, metrics and KPIs to drive consistent and excellent operations
  • carry out audits and checks on data changes to ensure ongoing accuracy and processing diligence
  • review existing processes continuously and drive forward their optimisation, standardisation and digitalisation within the global context
  • collaborative effectively across countries with People teams, Finance and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment across countries

YOU COME WITH

  • 5+ years of professional experience in personnel administration, preferably in a fast-growing, international, and dynamic environment
  • proven experience in leading and managing teams
  • strong knowledge of payroll preparation and social security law (Poland, ideally Europe-wide)
  • experience in labour law and union stakeholder management (preferred)
  • independent, structured, and accurate working style with a high sense of responsibility
  • reliable, flexible, and discreet personality
  • enjoyment in team collaboration and strong communication skills in English and Polish (written and spoken); very good German is a plus
