We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a high-impact team responsible for delivering products and technology that revolutionize the future of the property management industry. As a team lead, you'll work on the core platform, guiding your team to solve complex challenges using innovative technologies. You will coach and empower engineers to deliver innovative, scalable solutions while fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence. You'll report to the VP of Engineering and work cross-functionally with product management, design, data science, and marketing to prioritize projects, manage the team, and be a valued decision-maker within the company. Lead the engineering team as they deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Build and develop an incredibly talented team of driven, high-performing engineers.

Evaluate trade-offs and effectively prioritize tasks within the team in alignment with strategic initiatives and company goals.

You are responsible for ensuring the successful business outcomes of your team.

Partner with product managers, designers, and operations to develop and successfully execute the R&D strategy to solve business problems that directly impact the property management industry.

Set a high standard for your team with strong technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship. This is a hands-on role that will require some coding and architecture design.

Push for continuous improvements and innovation using data-driven decisions.

Minimum qualifications

6+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on building scalable and high-performance applications.

3+ years of experience in a management role.

Extensive experience leading Backend Engineering teams building AI-driven products, with strong expertise in system architecture and designing complex distributed systems based on microservices.

Proven ability to develop scalable backend platforms and foundational services that support AI applications and high-scale production environments.

Proven ability to lead and collaborate effectively with senior engineers, stakeholders, and peers.

Strong knowledge of microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.

Experience in a high-performing engineering organization, particularly with large-scale distributed systems or B2B SaaS applications.

Proficient in applying software engineering best practices: including coding standards, code reviews, CI/CD, and testing.

Proven experience in managing the complete dev life cycle from requirements to design, development, and go-live.

Bachelor, Master, or higher degree in Computer/Software Engineering or a related field

Startup experience is preferred.
