We’re looking for a new
Team Lead - Backend Developers. This is a hands-on leadership role combining backend engineering expertise in C#/.NET and AKS with mentoring and strategic direction. You’ll help shape our engineering culture, contribute to scalable cloud-native development, and support cross-functional collaboration.

  • Technical Contribution
    Actively contribute to backend and full-stack development, maintaining the same technical standards and expertise as other engineers, including API design, microservices, and cloud-native development using C#/.NET and AKS.

  • People Development
    Mentor and coach chapter members, conduct performance reviews, and support individual growth through tailored development plans and regular feedback.

  • Chapter Leadership
    Foster a high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative engineering culture across the Platform and Capture tribes.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    Work closely with product owners, DevOps, frontend teams, and other chapter leads to align on delivery goals and technical strategy.

  • Strategic Direction
    Shape the chapter’s technical roadmap, contribute to architectural decisions, and support long-term capability building.

  • Hiring & Onboarding
    Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and integration of new team members to ensure a smooth and effective transition.

  • Continuous Improvement
    Drive initiatives that improve developer experience, team productivity, and system reliability.

  • Knowledge Sharing
    Encourage learning through internal talks, documentation, and peer-to-peer collaboration.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong expertise in backend engineering and cloud-native environments

  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring, performance management, and fostering team growth

  • Strong analytical and debugging skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with a good command of English

  • Experience working in Agile environments, with familiarity in frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban

  • Strategic thinking and planning abilities, with a focus on aligning chapter goals with broader engineering and product objectives

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
