Job Title: Tax Senior Department: Tax Location: Remote/Hybrid Successful candidates should have the following:

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and CCH Axcess and have excellent research, writing, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Educational Requirements:
  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
  • Hold a valid CPA license or be working towards obtaining a CPA license.
  • A day-in-the-life basic overview includes:
  • Review and prepare complex tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, corporations, entities, and LLCs.
  • Prepare individual, fiduciary, estate, and gift tax returns by deadlines.
  • Work with the tax team to ensure the various components of the tax process are performed.
  • Work with clients to gather relevant tax-related information to prepare an accurate tax return.
  • Analyze the individual's tax situation, trusts, and estate from various angles to ensure the maximum tax benefit is applied.
  • Prepare and review year-end projections and quarterly estimates.
  • Research various tax-related issues.
  • Manage and develop clients who require income tax and financial planning.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to interns and associates on tax matters.
  • Act as a liaison between managers and clients.
  • Maintain strong presentation skills in both written and oral communication.
  • Attend internal and external professional development and training seminars regularly to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field.
