Key Responsibilities

  • Provide and develop tax planning to ensure the correct tax payments.
  • Working papers: calculation, preparation and execution of taxes for Mexico entity (ISR, IVA, DIOT,DIM, Dictamen, RAOCE, INEGI report), monthly and annual tax compliance.
  • To book payment of taxes in ERP (netsuite).
  • To ensure the submission of the declaration in the other entities. 
  • Strategic and planning support for all entities, especially Mexico, Colombia and USA.
  • Work very closely with accounting Team to have monthly tax accounts reconciliations.
  • Coordinate tasks with consultants and external auditors.
  • Elaborate working papers for local and consolidated audits.
  • Answer financial audit tax requirements.
  • Preparation of information for Board Meetings.
  • Incident assistance.
  • Payroll taxes knowledge (preferred).

Must-have Skills 

  • AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Tax.
  • Strong knowledge of monthly and annual tax returns.
  • Experience with USA tax compliance.
  • Fluent English.
  • Proficiency in SAT platforms.
  • Netsuite knowledge (preferred).
  • Minimum of two years of prior experience as a Manager, or in a similar financial role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
