Tax Manager – Infrastructure Tax Compliance

$140,000 – $170,000 per year

Title: Tax Manager – Infrastructure Tax Compliance

Basic Function: As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Tax Manager to join our Finance team.  Under the direction of the Head of Tax, the Tax Manager will manage overall tax compliance, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws, as well as supervise the tax reporting and control functions, using both internal and external resources and service providers. 

This role requires strong experience in capital‑intensive infrastructure businesses (data centers or renewable energy) and will partner closely with Accounting, Capital Markets, Legal, Procurement, and Operations, as well as act as a key point of contact for external tax advisors and auditors.

Responsibilities:

US Direct Tax Compliance & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain appropriate documentation for preparation of corporate income tax returns, estimated tax calculations and other filings
  • Ensure timely processing of all tax payments, including quarterly Federal estimated payments
  • Coordinate and facilitate preparation and review of HLBV and tax reporting with 3rd party independent accountants.
  • Oversee the income tax provision footnote and related disclosures for inclusion in financial statements, ensuring compliance with ASC 740 and applicable GAAP and IFRS requirements
  • Develop, maintain and document strong tax controls and Sarbanes Oxley compliant procedures and processes to minimize global tax risks
  • Support US tax audits and notices in coordination with advisors

US Indirect Tax – Sales & Use Tax

  • Own sales and use tax compliance across multiple US states, including:
    • Registration and filings
    • Review of taxability of colocation, hosting, managed services, and connectivity services
  • Ensure correct tax treatment of:
    • Capital equipment purchases (servers, cooling, power infrastructure)
    • Construction projects and contractor invoices
  • Manage exemption certificates and resale claims where applicable

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA or equivalent preferred
  • 6–10+ years of US tax experience, with at least:
    • 3–5 years in corporate tax compliance
  • Hands‑on experience supporting capital‑intensive businesses (data centers, renewable energy, telecom, or infrastructure)

Preferred

  • Experience in data centers, renewable energy, telecom, or large infrastructure companies
  • Deep knowledge of corporate taxation, partnership taxation and tax reporting
  • Experience working with Big 4 or large multinational organizations

 Base : 140000-170000

The pay range mentioned above is a guideline. We tailor each offer based on your unique skills, experience, location, and market benchmarks—while ensuring internal parity across our team.
