Tax Associate - Corporate

As a Tax Associate you will be responsible for: 

•  Preparation of corporate and partnership tax returns for US businesses under the supervision of senior staff. 

• The portfolio includes companies with revenues ranging from $0-$100M, across a variety of industries including Tech Start-Up, Pharmaceuticals, Marketing, Consumer Products, and our personal favorite, French Wine and Desserts 😊 

• Preparation of state and local nexus analysis and calculation of apportionment factors. 

• Calculation of federal taxable income, and identification of book-to-tax differences.

• Preparation of international tax forms, including 5472, 5471, 8865, 8858, 1042-S, 114 (no worries, we will show you the ropes)

Requirements

• A bachelor degree in accounting. 
• 1–2 years of experience in a mid-sized CPA firm, preferrable with exposure to tax. 
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and collaborate effectively with both clients and team members. 
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a strong team spirit. 
• Ability to meet deadlines and proactively communicate in advance if challenges arise. 
• High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling client and company information. 
• Strong interest in US tax  
• Proficiency in French and English along with eligibility to work in Morocco. 
• Occasional business travel within Morocco may be required during onboarding .
