We’re looking for a high-level Tax & Accounting professional to support a portfolio of clients with end-to-end tax and accounting needs.
This role is equivalent to a Tax Senior, Tax Manager, or Tax Partner-level contributor, designed for someone who can work autonomously, manage client workflows proactively, and provide strategic tax guidance with minimal oversight.

This is not a people-management role, but you will collaborate closely with other tax preparers and reviewers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review: Individual tax returns (Form 1040); Business tax returns (Forms 1120, 1120S, 1065); Nonprofit filings (Form 990)
  • Multi-state tax filings
  • Handle quarterly estimated taxes and year-end tax planning
  • Manage monthly accounting and bookkeeping for clients
  • Own client relationships and workflows from start to finish
  • Proactively identify tax-saving opportunities and compliance risks
  • Collaborate with other team members on preparation and review work
  • Maintain accurate documentation and client records within CRM systems
  • Operate independently while meeting deadlines and quality standards

Requirements

  • Senior-level experience in tax and accounting (public accounting background strongly preferred)
  • Proven experience with U.S. tax filings and compliance
  • Strong proficiency with: QuickBooks (accounting & bookkeeping); ProConnect (tax preparation); Canopy or similar CRM systems
  • Hands-on experience with Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, 990, and multi-state filings
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts with minimal supervision
  • Strong client communication and relationship management skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)

Nice to Have

  • CPA, EA, or equivalent certification
  • U.S. public accounting training or firm experience
  • Software certifications related to tax or accounting platforms
