Role Overview:
Join our client's team as a Tax Accountant/Bookkeeping professional and play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial records and compliance. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct data entry and maintain accurate financial records
- Reconcile transactions and accounts to ensure accuracy
- Prepare company financial statements and tax returns
- Assist in preparing client Business Activity Statements (BAS)
- Liaise effectively with clients to address financial queries and provide guidance
- Meet strict deadlines for financial reporting and compliance
- Utilise Xero and/or MYOB software (or similar) for accounting tasks
- Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with Xero and/or MYOB software (or similar)
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines and manage priorities effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
