The Role

To support the growth of the business, it is essential to ensure a sufficient and ready pipeline of talent that can fulfill hiring demands on time. You will focus proactively on building talent pipelines and identifying qualified candidates for various positions across the organization to streamline the recruitment process and minimize delays in filling key positions.

This role works closely with TA Consultants and Hiring Managers to understand hiring needs and proactively source potential candidates.

You are proficient in the use of technology and tools to widen the search for talents, using advanced sourcing platforms, Boolean searches techniques, data analytics, and social outreach tactics to identify and engage with diverse candidate pools effectively across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing & Pipeline Building

  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify passive candidates
  • Build and maintain talent pools for current and future positions
  • Utilize various sourcing channels including LinkedIn Recruiter, industry-specific platforms, and professional networks
  • Conduct Boolean searches and leverage advanced sourcing techniques
  • Create and optimize Boolean search strings for different roles and requirements

Candidate Management

  • Perform initial candidate screening and assessment
  • Maintain accurate records of all sourcing activities in the ATS
  • Engage passive candidates through personalized outreach
  • Build and nurture relationships with potential candidates
  • Keep track and maintain communication with candidates in the pipeline

Strategy & Analytics

  • Analyze sourcing metrics and adjust strategies based on data
  • Research industry trends and competitor talent landscape
  • Identify new sourcing channels and evaluate their effectiveness
  • Collaborate with the TA team to optimize sourcing processes
  • Provide regular reporting on sourcing activities and results

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with the TA Consultants to understand position requirements
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers to identify ideal candidate profiles
  • Participate in sourcing strategy meetings
  • Share market insights and candidate feedback with stakeholders

The Team

You will report to the APAC TA Operations Manager as a key TA team member. The APAC TA team comprises talent acquisition professionals specializing in hiring for different area of SEEK.

The TA team forms part of the broader P&C team, which includes HR Generalists, Remuneration and Benefits, Payroll and HR Information Systems, Corporate Communications, and our Operations Support team.

Skills and experience

  • Advanced knowledge of Boolean Search Techniques
  • Proficient in sourcing tools such as applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment software, and various sourcing platforms (e.g., SEEK, LinkedIn, GitHub, Behance) to identify potential candidates.
  • Shown ability to conduct in-depth research to source and connect with passive candidates.
  • Excellent interpersonal skill for building rapport with candidates and industry professionals.
  • Clear and persuasive verbal and written communication in conveying job opportunities and things we value.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to assess sourcing efficiency and make informed decisions.
  • Understanding of the specific industry and job market trends to tailor sourcing strategies accordingly.
  • Innovative thinking to develop sourcing strategies and outreach methods.
  • Strong organizational skills to lead multiple sourcing projects and timeframes efficiently.
  • Careful evaluation of candidate qualifications and resumes to ensure alignment with job requirements.
  • Dedication to sourcing a diverse talent pool and promoting diversity hiring practices.
  • Skills in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) are a plus.
