ROLE OVERVIEW The Talent Sourcer will search and identify suitable candidates supporting the talent team at Welo Data. this role focuses on proactively sourcing both active and passive candidates and building sustainable talent pipelines aligned with current and future hiring needs. As the first point of contact in the recruitment process, the Talent Sourcer is responsible for researching and leveraging local and global job boards, sourcing platforms, and community channels to identify suitable candidates. You will engage potential candidates directly, introduce them to Welo Data opportunities, and generate interest in open roles while contributing to the ongoing development and maintenance of Welo Data’s talent pools. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES - Identify and source candidates through relevant job boards, platforms, and social channels based on where target talent is active. - Partner with the Talent team to execute sourcing strategies that support current and ongoing hiring needs. - Act as the first point of contact for active and passive candidates, engaging them confidently through written communication. - Promote Welo Data opportunities and culture to generate interest and build sustainable talent pipelines. - Build and maintain talent pools for both immediate roles and recurring hiring needs to reduce time to hire. - Track sourcing activity and outcomes using key metrics to continuously improve sourcing effectiveness and processes. - Support and promote the employee referral programme to generate additional candidate leads. REQUIREMENTS - Demonstrate affinity with candidate sourcing and recruitment techniques. - An avid interest in Talent and Recruitment. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - A minimum of 6 months of experience in a recruitment or HR role where you were involved in CV sourcing. - Experience with sourcing tools, ATS (Lever and Workday preferred), and job portals. - A qualification in Human Resources Management or Talent/Recruitment would be beneficial. SKILLS - Excellent fluency in English, both verbal and written. - Ability to build and maintain strong candidate and stakeholder relationships. - Self-motivation with a positive attitude. - Ability to handle work-related pressure well and to adapt in a changing work environment. - Ability prioritise multiple tasks in a timely manner. - Highly organised with strong attention to detail. - Quick learner and confident.
