This position will be based in the Philippines. 

Summary of Role 

Palmetto is seeking a proactive and resourceful Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead end to end recruiting efforts for roles based in the Philippines. This role will be responsible for driving local sourcing, screening, and hiring execution in close partnership with U.S. based recruiters and hiring managers. The ideal candidate is hands on, highly organized, and passionate about delivering a great candidate experience while helping build a strong local talent pipeline aligned with Palmetto’s growth.

Strategic & Tactical

Talent Acquisition (70%)

  • Manage end to end recruitment for Philippines based roles, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, coordination of interviews, and offer management.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, set hiring timelines, and develop sourcing strategies tailored to each function.
  • Conduct initial candidate assessments and recommend qualified candidates for hiring manager review.
  • Manage candidate communication throughout the process, ensuring an efficient and positive experience.
  • Support local compliance and documentation requirements during hiring.
  • Create and execute referral campaigns and internal communications to drive employee participation and engagement.
  • Serve as the internal expert on the Philippine talent market and lead localized recruiting and recruitment marketing strategies to attract and engage top talent
  • Leverage Greenhouse and other tools to maintain accurate candidate data and ensure timely updates.
  • Provide regular updates on recruiting activity, candidate progress, and hiring metrics.
  • Help optimize recruiting processes for efficiency and consistency across regions.
  • Support employer branding efforts in the Philippines through localized content and engagement initiatives.

People & Culture (30%)

  • Serve as the local People & Culture liaison for Philippines based teammates, addressing day to day HR and policy inquiries and escalating complex matters to the U.S. P&C team as needed.
  • Coordinate with HRBP and Remote.com to track probationary periods, ensuring timely reviews, documentation, and conversion or separation processes.
  • Support initial employee relations inquiries such as attendance, performance, or conduct issues, gathering information and collaborating with U.S. HRBP and Remote.com for resolution.
  • Partner with the U.S. People Operations team on new hire onboarding, offboarding, and local engagement initiatives (e.g., surveys, stay interviews, culture events).
  • Support rollout of global People programs locally, ensuring alignment with EOR policies and labor regulations.
  • Collaborate with payroll, benefits, and compliance contacts at Remote.com to ensure smooth monthly operations and teammate communication.
  • Organize and coordinate engagement initiatives including celebrations, recognition programs, virtual events, and other team-building activities to foster a strong sense of community, connection, and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, ideally supporting U.S. based or global teams.
  • Experience recruiting for a mix of professional, administrative, and technical roles.
  • Strong sourcing skills with hands-on experience using job boards, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Greenhouse or a similar ATS is required.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to partner effectively with U.S. and Philippines based leaders.
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple roles simultaneously.
  • Passion for creating a strong candidate experience and contributing to a collaborative, high impact talent team.
