As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a critical role in translating business demand into a reliable, data-driven hiring pipeline. This role focuses on forecasting talent needs, attracting and screening high-quality candidates, strengthening hiring processes, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience that supports Oceans’ growth without friction.

Accountability

Your success as a Talent Acquisition Specialist will be measured by the accuracy and reliability of hiring forecasts, the strength of the talent pipeline, the quality of hires, and the experience delivered to candidates and stakeholders. Here’s how you’ll make an impact:

Pipeline Management and Prediction

  • Analyse sales pipelines, deal conversion rates, and available talent pools to forecast hiring needs.
  • Shape hiring plans, forecasts, and strategies while resolving bottlenecks.
  • Ensure data accuracy that informs hiring pipeline decisions.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Delivery, and Training stakeholders to strengthen planning.
  • Build and maintain a robust, future-ready candidate pipeline.
  • Recommend skill sets that improve alignment with business demand.

Talent Attraction

  • Execute multi-channel sourcing strategies across inbound, outbound, and referrals.
  • Adjust outreach based on CV flow, conversion data, and market signals.
  • Identify sourcing gaps through conversion analysis.
  • Partner with TA-Marketing to drive inbound candidate volume.
  • Build strong professional presence across sourcing platforms.
  • Sustain a healthy candidate pipeline for future hiring needs.

Talent Screening

  • Progress candidates through structured screening processes with strong hygiene.
  • Improve screening quality, speed, and accuracy through continuous refinement.
  • Identify misalignment in skills, level, or compensation and escalate appropriately.
  • Evaluate hiring workflows and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to strengthen hiring effectiveness.
  • Own hiring quality and candidate journey outcomes.

Data Management

  • Maintain high-quality, structured candidate data across systems.
  • Generate insights and summaries that guide hiring decisions.
  • Recommend new data points that improve business visibility.
  • Strengthen downstream reporting through accurate granular data.
  • Use sheets, formulas, and light automation to reduce manual work and errors.

Quality Improvements

  • Own end-to-end hiring quality and candidate journey effectiveness.
  • Gather feedback from Training, Delivery Success, Integration, and stakeholders.
  • Implement improvements to processes and assessments that resolve recurring gaps.
  • Continuously iterate with long-term hiring success in mind.

Human Centricity

  • Deliver a positive candidate experience regardless of outcome.
  • Strengthen employer brand and inbound attraction through experience quality.
  • Improve SLAs and reduce friction, delays, and candidate drop-off.
  • Incorporate stakeholder and candidate feedback to improve closure quality and speed.

Colleagues

You’ll collaborate closely with our TA leads and hiring managers, acting as a trusted evaluator and operational support partner. You will also work hand-in-hand with the Sales, Delivery, Training, TA-Marketing, and Integration teams to ensure hiring pipelines align with real business demand.

While working cross-functionally, this role reports to the Talent Acquisition leadership team.

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • 4–6 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting operations, or workforce planning.
  • Proven ability to manage hiring pipelines using data and forecasting.
  • Experience sourcing across multiple channels and improving conversion performance.
  • Strong stakeholder collaboration and structured screening capability.

Role Specifications

This is a remote role, where you will be expected to work with some overlap across client and internal team time zones. You will be expected to participate in in-person training programs during your first 90 days with us.
