Role Overview:

This Talent Acquisition Specialist is a 6‑month contract role for maternity leave coverage. This person serves as the driving force behind recruitment excellence, acting as a central expert and trusted thought partner to Senior HR leaders and hiring managers globally. This role goes beyond traditional recruitment—it's about owning the hiring process, guiding managers strategically, and ensuring a seamless, high‑impact experience. By positioning Process Automation as an employer of choice, this partner plays a critical role in securing top talent to meet current needs and shape future success in an ever‑evolving landscape.

 

Work Environment: United States, 100% Remote 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition & Delivery

  • Manage full‑cycle recruiting for specialist and mid‑to‑senior level roles across the Process Automation sector, primarily within the Americas.
  • Partner closely with HR Business Partners and hiring managers to understand role requirements, timelines, and business priorities.
  • Lead intake discussions, define candidate profiles, and advise managers on market conditions, talent availability, and hiring strategies.
  • Source, screen, interview, and assess candidates using a variety of methods including LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and existing talent pipelines.
  • Coordinate interview processes, gather feedback, and manage candidate communications to ensure a high‑quality experience.
  • Support offer development, approvals, and negotiations in line with IMI guidelines and compensation frameworks.

 

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Act as a trusted point of contact for hiring managers, providing clear communication, guidance, and progress updates throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with Senior HR leaders to ensure alignment with sector and regional priorities.
  • Provide practical, data‑informed recommendations to keep hiring moving efficiently.

 

Employer Brand & DEI Continuity

  • Represent IMI and the Process Automation sector professionally and consistently in the external talent market.
  • Support diversity and inclusion objectives by ensuring fair, equitable, and inclusive hiring practices.
  • Engage diverse talent pools and promote IMI’s culture, values, and employee value proposition.

 

Process, Systems & Reporting

  • Utilize IMI’s applicant tracking system and recruiting tools to manage requisitions and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Track and report on key recruiting metrics (e.g., time to fill, pipeline health, candidate flow) as required.
  • Follow established IMI talent acquisition processes and contribute to continuous improvement where appropriate.
  • Support sector or Group‑wide HR initiatives as needed during the assignment. 


 

Critical Competencies for Success:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4–6 years of experience in talent acquisition, ideally within an international, matrixed, or technical/engineering environment.
  • Proven experience managing full‑cycle recruitment across multiple roles and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Strong sourcing capability, particularly via LinkedIn and proactive search techniques.
  • Comfortable operating independently in a fast‑paced, remote environment.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

 

Pay range: $70,000 - $80,000

Within this range, individual pay is determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications relative to the job requirements. Base pay information is aligned with market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
