We're seeking a Regional Talent Acquisition Team Lead (South Africa) to join our growing team. This is a dual role that combines hands-on recruitment with team leadership. You’ll manage your own requisitions while also coaching and supporting a small, distributed regional recruiting team. It’s ideal for someone who loves both the strategic side of talent and the energy of day-to-day delivery—and wants to play a key role in shaping how we attract talent in the region.

What you will do:

  • Coach, mentor, and give feedback to our South Africa-based recruiters to help them grow while ensuring smooth delivery across live roles
  • Set priorities, manage workload, and ensure smooth delivery across live roles, while also driving continuous improvement.
  • Champion best practices, compliance with local laws, and an inclusive team culture.
  • Act as the regional point of contact for global TA leadership.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle for critical regional hires, mainly across marketing, creative, tech, and communications.
  • Build strong pipelines and deliver an excellent candidate experience from outreach to offer.
  • Partner with hiring managers as a trusted advisor, aligning hiring with business growth goals and client needs.
  • Represent our employer brand positively in the market.
  • Monitor recruiting KPIs and team performance.
  • Use data and market insights to track performance, share updates, and shape strategy with the global TA team.
  • Share regular updates with the global TA team on wins, challenges, and opportunities.

  • 5–7+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, with proven success managing multiple searches end-to-end simultaneously.
  • At least 1–2 years in a team lead, coaching, or supervisory capacity — including providing feedback, mentoring recruiters, and overseeing projects or delivery priorities.
  • Experience recruiting in agency and/or global in-house environments.
  • Strong track record hiring across marketing, creative, tech, and communications roles.
  • Skilled communicator with a focus on stakeholder engagement, coaching conversations, and giving constructive feedback.
  • Excellent project management and time-management skills — able to set priorities, track progress, and ensure timely delivery across competing demands.
  • Proficient with ATS platforms and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Working knowledge of South African (and ideally UK/EUR) employment compliance requirements.
  • A proactive leader who leads by example, adapts quickly, and thrives in fast-paced, distributed/remote environments.

Candidates must be legally authorized to live and work in the country the position is based in, without requiring sponsorship.
