About the Role:
At Torch Dental, we’re on a mission to help dental practices save money, simplify ordering, and consolidate vendors. The Talent Acquisition Partner plays a key role in scaling our Sales organization by attracting, assessing, and hiring top-performing talent. While this role is primarily focused on Sales recruiting, it will also provide light support for other functions as business needs evolve. This role partners closely with Sales leaders, hiring managers, People Operations, and cross-functional teams to deliver a high-impact, data-informed recruiting process while maintaining an exceptional candidate experience. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment and enjoys building while executing.
Location: Austin, TX
Sourcing & Sales Talent Strategy:
Own inbound and outbound sourcing for Sales roles across multiple levels, and provide occasional support for non-Sales roles as needed, through outbound emails, LinkedIn pursuit, phone calls and text messages
Conduct phone screens with candidates to assess alignment with their skills and the role requirements, and make decisions on who to pass forward in the hiring process
Manage scheduling and extending offers to qualified candidates
Analyze recruiting data and pipeline metrics to make recommendations on sourcing strategies, vendor usage, and process improvements
Create, manage, and refresh job postings across external job boards and sourcing platforms to drive strong, qualified applicant flow
Process and manage employee referral submissions
Explore and evaluate new sourcing tools, vendors, and channels to support Sales hiring goals
Partner with Marketing on employer branding initiatives that position the Sales team as an employer of choice across the organization
Identify talent gaps and anticipate future hiring needs in partnership with Sales leadership and broader business planning
Interview Process & Candidate Experience
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from phone screen through offer acceptance, partnering with People Ops for onboarding handoff
Coordinate and facilitate interviews while ensuring a smooth, efficient, and candidate-focused experience
Lead candidate debrief sessions and guide hiring teams toward timely, data-backed hiring decisions
Coach Sales leaders and hiring managers—along with other functional partners as needed—on interview best practices and candidate evaluation
Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to the recruiting process while balancing speed, quality, and candidate experience
Partnerships, Projects & Operations
Partner with Sales leadership and Training teams on workforce planning, ramp timelines, and hiring readiness
Provide light recruiting support to other functions as needed based on hiring priorities
Create and maintain recruiting and sourcing process documentation to support scale and consistency
Lead or support talent projects and initiatives that improve hiring outcomes and efficiency
Partner with Training to assess recruiting-related training progress and identify opportunities to strengthen hiring processes across teams
Provide recommendations for job descriptions and postings to attract high-performing, mission-aligned candidates
Support recruiting vendor management and budget tracking as needed
Leadership & Enablement
Act as a trusted recruiting advisor to Sales leaders and hiring managers
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior recruiting team members as the team grows
Train new Sales Managers on interview best practices and the team hiring process
Contribute insights and updates in quarterly or recurring recruitment meetings
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting, with a strong preference for Sales or revenue-generating roles
Experience supporting multiple functions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Demonstrated success sourcing in competitive, high-growth environments
Strong analytical skills with the ability to use recruiting data to inform decisions
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a focus on customer value
Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to a fast-paced, customer-obsessed team

Consistently delivering high-quality Sales hires that meet company headcount targets while flexing to support other teams as needed
Building trusted partnerships with Sales leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
Proactively identifying hiring challenges and solving them before they impact growth
Balancing speed, quality, and candidate experience as the business scales
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary range is $55,000 - $70,000
