Role Summary

Our client seeks an innovative and motivated Talent Acquisition Lead to spearhead hiring initiatives across their multi-state hospitality operations. This position demands someone capable of unconventional thinking, implementing large-scale recruitment initiatives, and managing both permanent staff acquisition and seasonal workforce onboarding across various properties.

This isn't a conventional "post-and-wait" recruiting position—they need someone who recognizes that talent acquisition is fundamentally about metrics and can resourcefully identify candidates beyond conventional job platforms. You'll collaborate closely with senior leadership to produce outcomes and may have chances to visit properties during busy periods.

Primary Duties

  • Visa Processing Coordination: Facilitate J-1 visa and H-2B visa procedures for seasonal and international team members
  • Large-Scale Recruitment: Oversee complete recruitment cycles for numerous hospitality sites, encompassing seasonal operations and permanent locations
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Work alongside senior leadership and department heads to assess workforce requirements and present qualified applicants
  • Seasonal Workforce Management: Arrange onboarding for returning seasonal staff and source new candidates for high-demand periods
  • Innovative Talent Sourcing: Design and implement creative recruitment approaches beyond conventional job platforms to secure premier hospitality professionals
  • Candidate Database Oversight: Keep well-organized talent pipelines and guarantee prompt engagement throughout the hiring journey
  • Property Visits: Periodic travel to facilities during seasonal launches (limited, 2-3 occasions annually maximum)
  • Additional HR Responsibilities: Offer supplementary HR generalist assistance when necessary during slower recruitment cycles

Requirements

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish/English mandatory (verbal and written communication)
  • 3+ years of recruitment background, specifically within hospitality sectors (dining venues, lounges, nightlife establishments, accommodations, or entertainment facilities)
  • Demonstrated capacity for creative thinking and candidate identification through multiple channels
  • Track record with large-volume recruitment and simultaneous management of numerous job openings
  • Competency with applicant tracking platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Background recruiting for startup environments or fast-expanding organizations
  • Comprehensive knowledge of remote work dynamics and independent work approach
  • Superior organizational capabilities and precision focus
  • Working knowledge of J-1 and H-2B visa frameworks preferred
