We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Intern to join our Human Resources Team for our 10-week summer internship program. This intern will report into our Talent Acquisition Team Lead and will assist our candidates throughout the interview process. If you have a passion for recruiting and providing an exceptional candidate experiencewe’d love to hear from you! 

This remote position is open to individuals who live in, or are open to relocating to, the following states: Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington. 

This opportunity requires travel to our headquarters in Melville, NY for an internship on-site meeting on July 14th and July 15th. We reimburse reasonable and necessary travel expenses, and you’re also welcome to work on-site anytime beyond this visit – our doors are always open.

Location: Remote

Length of Program: June 1st  August 7th (10 weeks)

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • ​​​Proactively build and manage a pipeline of qualified candidates using Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other tools to attract top talent
  • Review applications and resumes to identify candidates whose knowledge, skills, and abilities best align with each role​
  • ​​Conduct Zoom interviews and complete detailed, thoughtful interview scorecards and evaluations​
  • ​​Schedule and coordinate interviews to ensure a smooth, organized experience for both candidates and Hiring Managers​
  • ​​Administer technical, creative, and personality assessments, as well as background checks, to support hiring decisions​
  • Keep hiring teams informed and aligned through clear, timely internal communication​
  • ​​Stay informed on recruitment trends, job boards, salary data, and market insights to help us remain competitive​
  • Handle sensitive and confidential documents as well as protect the security of this information
  • Manage one project that enhances the team’s effectiveness and contributes toward our annual goals
  • Support the Talent Acquisition Team Lead and Manager with additional recruitment tasks and special projects as needed​ 

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with a focus on Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, or a related field
  • ​​Excellent organizational skills, the ability to juggle multiple tasks, and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume, and process-driven environment with high attention to detail​
  • ​​A positive, professional, and self-motivated attitude and a dedication to continuous learning
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including interviewing, meeting facilitation, and reference checks via Zoom, Slack, email, and phone​
  • Proficiency in MS365, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite
