Manage the complete recruitment process at carsales while enhancing employee engagement and driving diversity initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do: 

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment experience across carsales and its subsidiaries, delivering exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences.
  • Develop and support solutions such as attraction events and manager coaching workshops that support in delivering top talent across carsales.
  • Manage cyclical talent events such as graduate and early careers recruitment programs.
  • Focus on initiatives that deliver high employee engagement, diversity and quality of hire and retention. This includes engaging talent via a range of avenues including outreach, referrals, applications, market mapping and everything in between.
  • Work with top tier technology such as SmartRecruiters, including integrations with Testgrid, Vieple, CV Check and HiBob and sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, consistently discovering how technology can support how we recruit.
  • Provide regular reporting, sharing trends and insights from candidate and competitor knowledge to ensure we remain an employer of choice for the best talent.
  • Collaborate and connect with Hiring Managers/Teams to build capability to attract and engage talent directly via regular coaching and workshops.
  • Partner with the broader People and Culture team and contribute to business projects and initiatives as required.
  • Number of vacancies can fluctuate, generally ~15 roles, however support is always available from the broader team during peak periods. 

What are we looking for? 

  • Expertise in identifying, engaging, and attracting top talent in a competitive environment, across a variety of roles, with quality of hire and employee engagement always a priority. Experience recruiting technical roles is desirable.
  • In-house recruitment experience and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and energised People and Culture environment.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with demonstrated experience working directly with Hiring Managers from role brief to offer.
  • Hands-on  Applicant Tracking System (ATS) management experience. SmartRecruiters preferred, but not essential.
  • Motivation to learn from a broad range of diverse people within carsales and expertise within the People and Culture team.
  • Flexibility and self-motivation to consistently maintain momentum.
  • Hosting and engagement skills to lead attraction events.
