Responsibilities
- Work closely with Data Engineering team to ensure data sources are accurate, available and analyzable.
- Design and create dashboards with Tableau Desktop, report authoring and troubleshooting, data source management.
- Create and edit SQL queries within Tableau to build calculated fields.
- Create interactive filters, parameters and calculations for preparing dashboards and worksheets in Tableau.
- Build and publish interactive dashboards on Tableau Cloud.
- Performance Tuning.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering team to test, clean, and standardized data to meet the business requirements.
- Work cross-functionally with various departments including business stakeholders and technical personnel to exchange ideas.
- Document KPIs and Metrics definitions to maintain work flows and dashboard functionality.
- Identifying and examining issues of the business process and timely resolving the same.
- Finding out the improvement area and identifying automation opportunities to make operation efficient.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Mid to Expert level knowledge on Tableau
- Working knowledge of Snowflake
- Ability to analyze and understand complex data
- Knowledge of master data management, data warehousing and business intelligence architecture.
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills (both oral/written) with the ability to communicate at various levels with clarity & precision.
- Clear understanding of DW lifecycle and contribute in preparing Design documents, Unit Test plans, Code review reports.
- Experience working in Agile environment (Scrum, Lean, Kanban) is a plus
Qualifications & Experience:
- At least 2-3 years of Tableau development experience
