T-SQL developer

Job Description:
We’re seeking a highly skilled T-SQL developer to join our team. As a T-SQL developer, the candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining T-SQL code and ensuring its stability, reliability, and performance. The candidate will work with our development, business analysts, and operational teams and contribute to various projects, including database optimization, data integration, reporting, and data-driven application development.

 Main Responsibilities:

• Design and optimize complex SQL queries for high-performance data retrieval and manipulation.
• Optimizing database performance and ensuring data integrity.
• Troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Creating and maintaining database documentation.
• Provide estimates for work / updates of status and estimates to complete. 
• Support user tests. 
• Provide 3rd level support. 

Technical Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering 
• Strong proficiency in T-SQL and database concepts        
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with database development tool MS SQL Server and associated technologies        
• Familiarity with performance tuning and query optimization        
• Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles.  
• Experience with IBM WebSphere Transformation Extender [nice to have] 
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory.

Soft Skills:

• Rigorous, autonomous, team-oriented, result-oriented and proactive.    
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira.
• At ease with financial concepts and/or interested to learn the Business & Bank organization.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.  
• Attention to detail and strong analytical thinking.
