Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Onboarding: Assist in the onboarding of various data sources into Splunk, ensuring data integrity and optimal indexing.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data patterns and trends to recommend improvements and optimizations for existing processes and systems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and optimize the performance of Splunk applications, ensuring high availability and responsiveness.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for processes, procedures, and dashboard functionalities.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and team members on using Splunk dashboards and interpreting data.
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot issues related to Splunk installations and configurations, and provide timely resolutions.
  • Best Practices: Stay updated on new Splunk features and industry best practices to continuously improve systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Four (4) years of professional experience in relational databases and operating as a Database Administrator (DBA).
  • Experience in relational Database Management Systems (DBMS) design, schema design, database hardware and software design, query languages, and performance tuning of database systems.
  • Programming proficiency (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Java, Scala, C++, Tableau).
  • This position is required to be designated as IAT II level with a T3.
