YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WORK As a Systems & Network Engineer at CIC, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our systems and network infrastructure. You will play a pivotal role in keeping the lights up, improving business efficiency through technology and meeting our growth aspirations by opening new sites. You will work closely with IT teams based in the US, Poland and Japan. Due to the nature of our business (and awesome offices we have!), we work in a hybrid office model and expect you to be here at least 3 days a week. Key Responsibilities: Networks: Monitor, troubleshoot, configure our networks (we are very heavy on Wi-Fi, which is one of the main services provided to our clients) with hundreds of Access Points and low footprint network stacks (Extreme / Ruckus) Systems: Introduce and operate core and auxiliary systems (Google Workspace, JIRA, Salto, Poly/Logitech, Print Servers (PaperCut), MDMs, CCTV Servers and more)  Physical Access Control: Set up and manage scalable and reliable door access controls for CIC’s Campuses across the world. This means thousands of locks globally, even more user access cards which must give and take access to our spaces securely and reliably.  Incident Response: Monitor networks and systems, work through quick resolution and continuously improve things. Participate in on-call rota for network-related emergencies. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive network and systems documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and change management records. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and provide technical guidance and support. Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to more junior members, sharing your knowledge and expertise.  ABOUT YOU You are a professional who enjoys experimenting with technologies but also knows when to standardize for scale. You have great communication skills, both written and verbal for conveying technical information to non-technical audiences. You have strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Must have: • Demonstrate at least 3 years of practical experience in managing LAN/WAN networks, ideally with robust Wi-Fi, multiple firewalls and different routing protocols • Knowledge of systems and network monitoring tools like Zabbix, Nagios, Solarwinds or similar • Experience working with either Microsoft Active Directory and/or Google Workspace environments • Strong communication and collaboration abilities. • Near-C1 English (spoken & written); Polish at least B1. Desirable: • Experience with day-to-day administration of both Linux and Windows Server operating systems in standalone and virtualized environments (e.g. Proxmox, Hyper-V, VMware etc.) • Experience working with IT Service Management principles (ITIL certification would be plus) • Knowledge of physical access controls (e.g. Salto systems) • Awareness of project management methodologies • Can-do attitude, joy in doing technical things and a sense of ownership • Ability to legally work in Poland. CIC is unable to sponsor visas for this role at this time.
