Systems Management Specialist (xin001_J953)

Skill Set:

• Experience with standard computing systems including file storage, networking and internet technologies.

• A general knowledge of Microsoft Core Technologies. MCITP certification preferred.

• Working knowledge of SQL databases

• Understanding of the Microsoft System Center Orchestrator Architecture, System Center Orchestrator 2012 R2 (SCOrch)

• IT Process Automation and documentation experience

Experience Required:

• Installing Orchestrator and the Integration Packs 

• Use of the Development Client 

• Monitoring Target Systems

• System Tools

• Data Manipulation

• Working with Unix

• Orchestrator Utilities

• Workflow Control

• Upgrade process

Ongoing Responsibilities include:

• Run and maintain a production SCOrch environment, with high system availability

• Deploy, upgrade and optimize the logical architecture of an Orchestrator infrastructure

• Develop and maintain advanced runbooks to integrate Microsoft and third party products

• Configure error handling and custom logging in Orchestrator runbooks

• Troubleshoot issues with Orchestrator components and Orchestrator runbook execution

• Understand Microsoft best practices for Runbook Lifecycle Management

• Design end-to-end process automation incorporating System Center products

• Develop custom activities and integration packs
