Our client is a leading technology infrastructure provider operating across multiple data centers in North America. They're currently executing a major infrastructure modernization initiative, transitioning their virtualization platform to Proxmox. This is a large-scale migration spanning 60+ production clusters across several facilities. The project requires migrating enterprise workloads while maintaining zero downtime for business-critical systems. You'll be part of the team building new infrastructure, planning migration strategies, and ensuring operational excellence throughout the transition.
We need an experienced virtualization engineer with strong Proxmox VE and Linux administration skills. You should have hands-on experience with distributed storage systems and be comfortable automating infrastructure tasks. This role suits someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges in high-stakes production environments. You would have ownership over the sites that you migrate, and collaborate closely with the project lead.
