Position Overview This role supports complex, classified enterprise systems and requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Required Experience and Technical Skills • Experience with Windows Server 2022 and 2025, Citrix XenDesktop, VMware ESXi, Active Directory, SAN environments, VCP 7.x and 8.x, Nutanix AHV, and Prism • Experience designing and implementing Cisco UCS computing servers and HyperFlex server architectures • Experience administering and managing Red Hat Linux servers • Minimum of 10 years of relevant systems engineering experience • Experience working in DoD classified environments • Understanding of security requirements associated with DoD enterprise systems • Experience deploying, configuring, and managing Splunk • Experience with enterprise backup solutions such as Veeam, Acronis, or similar tools • Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity policies, STIGs, and RMF processes • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint • Experience briefing system capabilities and operational considerations to both technical and non-technical audiences • Exceptional attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, and proven analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a dynamic environment Education and Certification Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field; additional relevant experience or certifications may be substituted in lieu of a degree • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience • Must meet DoD 8570.01-M IAT II or IAM I baseline certification requirements Preferred Qualifications • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, including JIRA and Confluence • Experience supporting Intelligence Community systems • VMware VCP 7.x or 8.x certification • Experience with Infoblox, Nutanix, and Commvault 11.x • Experience with System Center Configuration Manager 2012 or later • Experience with Windows Server 2025, SQL Server 2016, SharePoint 2016, and related enterprise platforms • Experience with ACAS, Trellix Endpoint Security, and MECM • Familiarity with ITIL v4 • Experience with Microsoft Exchange 2016 • Experience developing IT documentation such as SOPs, checklists, and technical guides Benefits Package • 401(k) with employer matching • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off and parental leave • Retirement plan
