Description of the Team
The People Systems M&A team partners across People, IT, Finance, Legal, Security, and Corporate Development to enable seamless workforce transitions during mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. This team is responsible for integrating people, data, and systems into CoreWeave’s HR technology ecosystem while ensuring compliance, payroll accuracy, and a positive employee experience throughout periods of change.

About the Role
CoreWeave is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineer, M&A – People Systems to lead and execute HR systems integrations across M&A events. In this role, you will own the technical delivery of people systems integration, from due diligence through post-close stabilization. You will design and execute Workday data migrations, configure People systems for acquired populations, and support payroll- and compliance-critical cutovers. This role operates in fast-paced environments and plays a critical role in enabling CoreWeave’s growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead People Systems integration efforts for M&A activities, including onboarding acquired employees into CoreWeave’s HR technology ecosystem.

  • Partner with Corporate Development and People teams during due diligence to assess HR systems, data structures, payroll, benefits, and compliance considerations.

  • Design and execute data migration strategies into Workday HCM, including worker, job, compensation, benefits, and payroll-related data.

  • Configure and optimize Workday HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, and related People systems to support acquired populations.

  • Plan and execute cutover activities, system testing, parallel payroll runs, and go-live support for M&A integrations.

  • Build, support, and monitor integrations between Workday and third-party people systems, including ATS, benefits vendors, payroll providers, and learning platforms.

  • Develop validation, reconciliation, and audit reports to ensure data accuracy and payroll readiness post-integration.

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, SOX, labor, and regulatory requirements throughout the M&A lifecycle.

  • Troubleshoot complex system and data issues in high-impact, time-sensitive environments.

  • Document integration approaches, risks, and best practices to continuously improve M&A execution.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HRIS, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 4+ years of experience supporting People Systems or HRIS, with hands-on experience in Workday.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting M&A-related HR systems integrations, conversions, or large-scale employee onboarding events.

  • Strong expertise in Workday configuration, including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, security, and reporting.

  • Experience using EIBs, Calculated Fields, and Workday Web Services (REST/SOAP APIs).

  • Proven understanding of people data governance, security, and compliance requirements in an M&A context.

  • Experience managing multiple integrations, timelines, and system dependencies concurrently.

Preferred

  • Experience with Workday Studio.

  • Experience supporting global or multi-entity M&A integrations.

  • Familiarity with automation tools or process optimization within HR or People Systems.

The base salary range for this role is $122,000 to $179,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).

Our Workplace

While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration
