Albedo is making Very Low Earth Orbit (VLEO) mainstream, building the infrastructure to usher every satellite mission set into this new orbital domain. What You'll Do:
Operate Clarity-1, Albedo’s first on-orbit satellite, with support from the Systems team.
Work closely with subsystem owners (GNC, avionics, payload, thermal, power, FSW) to ensure the vehicle is operating on-orbit successfully.
Gather requirements for on-orbit experiments, develop test scripts, and execute them on-orbit
Analyze and review on-orbit data from Clarity-1 to identify areas of improvement and proactively drive solutions and updates across Flight Software and Ground Software.
Support test activities of future missions with an operations view point.
Build the systems understanding and skill set to grow into a systems/mission design role.
Your Ideal Skills and Experience:
Regularly uses AI tools as essential leverage to accelerate work, improve clarity, and multiply output
Familiarity with spacecraft subsystems (avionics, power, thermal, GNC, payload)
Familiarity with scripting languages (mainly Python) and an interest in expanding coding skills.
Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
Curiosity and eagerness to learn, with the drive to take ownership of problems and deliver results in a fast-moving environment.
