Systems Engineer, Level 3

Apply systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle while maintaining user accounts and managing the MSPS license pool for critical DoD/IC programs.

VOR Technology is seeking a Systems Engineer Director who applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle. VOR Technology is searching for a candidate whose responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining user accounts and management of MSPS license pool.
  • Performing systems engineering activities and assists in the preparation of a work product in areas associated with the ISO/IEC 15288.
  • Performing analysis of technical alternatives for a project and make preliminary recommendations.
  • Independently analyzing and recommending alternatives for elements of project’s technical design.

*All Candidates must have a TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph

  • Six (6) years' systems engineering experience supporting DoD/IC programs.
  • Familiarity with the software development life-cycle and information security engineering desired.
  • Experience with Technical Process Area - Stakeholder Requirements Definition, Requirements Analysis, Architectural Design, Implementation, Integration, Verification
  • Experience with Project Process Area - Project Planning, Project Assessment and Control, Decision Management, Risk Management, Configuration Management
  • Experience with Enterprise Process Area - Project Portfolio Management, Life-cycle Model Management, Quality Management
  • Familiarity with Agreement Process Area - Acquisition and Supply

Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree (System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline)

Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope clearance
