This role is designed for a highly skilled technical professional with a passion for designing and implementing resilient data solutions. As a Systems Engineer, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor, collaborating closely with service providers and internal teams to develop secure, scalable, and future-ready architectures. You will lead complex pre-sales engagements, deliver high-impact technical presentations, and manage proof-of-concepts that directly influence business outcomes. The position offers a blend of hands-on technical problem-solving and executive-level engagement, providing exposure to hybrid, multi-cloud, and SaaS environments. Success in this role requires both deep technical expertise and the ability to communicate value effectively to diverse stakeholders. You will play a key role in shaping data resilience strategies and ensuring partners achieve operational excellence.
Accountabilities:
Lead enterprise-level pre-sales activities, including discovery, solution design, architecture validation, and technical closure.
Translate business objectives into secure, scalable, and resilient technical solutions for service provider partners.
Deliver technical demonstrations and executive-level presentations emphasizing business value and cyber risk reduction.
Design, manage, and execute proof-of-concepts (POCs) aligned with customer success criteria.
Collaborate with sales, partners, product management, and engineering teams to optimize solution architecture and customer outcomes.
Maintain deep knowledge of hybrid cloud, multi-cloud, virtualization, enterprise storage, and cyber resilience technologies.
Act as a technical mentor and resource for both internal teams and external partners.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, or senior technical roles within enterprise environments.
Proven track record leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, including discovery, solution design, POCs, and executive engagement.
Strong technical foundation in data resilience, infrastructure platforms, cloud services, networking, and security.
Solid understanding of data security, privacy, governance, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Foundational knowledge of AI, machine learning, and large language models, with ability to connect resilient data to AI initiatives.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with C-level executives.
Bonus: Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix), containerization (Kubernetes), and managed service provider environments.
