SEWS — Farmington Hills, Michigan Office. Although located at SEWS – Farmington Hills Office, this is a Hybrid position, which combines both in office and off-site work. Associates are required to work at least three days in the office each week, but also have the flexibility to work off-site.
Basic Purpose:
Lead ECAD activities, consisting of software and licensing support for the business unit.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the maintenance of ECAD software (Zuken, Capital, Teamcenter, Enovia, etc.) in the NA OEM business unit's production environment, as well as the testing environment for version upgrades.
- Interface with customer ECAD groups to investigate upgrades and requests; test and deploy upgrades as needed within the business unit.
- Interface with business unit satellite offices within other countries to support global ECAD activities.
- Primary contact for software vendors, tracking and maintaining licensing and budget for ECAD tools and environments.
- Interface with software application engineers to resolve software related issues.
- Create and maintain training materials for ECAD tools and processes.
- Create and maintain methods for library management.
- Interface with MCAD and internal IT software contacts to find efficiencies within the NA OEM business unit.
- Interface with the NA OEM business unit software developers, to develop, test, deploy and maintain customized scripts.
- Track and ensure ECAD generated files adhere to internal and customer specifications.
Qualifications:

4year BS or equivalent degree, with experience in ECAD

5-7 years of ECAD experience
