Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, network devices, and other IT infrastructure components.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
• Perform routine system updates and patches to ensure security and reliability.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement and support business applications.
• Create and maintain system documentation and configurations.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Respond to system outages and emergencies promptly.
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in operating systems, such as Windows Server and Linux.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, CompTIA Server+).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
• Understanding of ITIL processes.
